Woolpit is a beautiful village with many fine houses

Built circa 1830, Rose Cottage provides charming and comfortable accommodation directly overlooking the front aspect of the beautiful church of St Mary's set within a conservation area in the delightful village of Woolpit.  Located in the heart of rural Suffolk, Woolpit is ideally situated for exploring the Suffolk Coast, Dedham Vale and Constable country as well as the historic and beautiful Suffolk villages including Lavenham, Long Melford and Kersey. The larger and historic towns of Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Colchester and Norwich are all within 40 minutes travelling time from the cottage.

Rose Cottage has recently been renovated and refurbished to a very high standard.  On the ground floor a large entrance hall with desk area and cloakroom leads to a sitting room which retains the original inglenook fireplace.  A dining area with seating for six leads to a separate modern kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher and washing machine.  Tri-fold doors open out from the kitchen onto a patio area in the south facing garden.

The cottage sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms: two doubles and one twin.  The two front bedrooms enjoy stunning views of the church opposite, and the third rear facing bedroom which is ensuite, has a picturesque aspect through French windows with a Juliette balcony. A well appointed family bathroom is also situated on the first floor.

We are sure guests will find Rose Cottage both charming and comfortable.
